Tome of Age

パジャマとも陰口を叩かれているOracleRobe。それを着ているNPCがOoTにいるのは有名ですが謎は多い。

まずは導入部。OoTのEro島の南のゴブリン島にOracleRobeを着た人がいます。
>Hail Oracle of K'Arnon.

I am the Oracle of K'Arnon.
Do you quest for [ knowledge ] yourself , or do you offer that which I [ seek ]?


私は、 Oracle of K'Arnonである。
あなたは [ 知識 ] の探求を自分自身に課すか、もしくはあなたは、私が[ 求める ]モノに手を貸すか ?


>What is knowledge.

I have lived long and have insight into many matters , yet I despise charity.
To learn from me , you must first bring me that which I [ seek ].


私は、長く生き、そして、多くの問題への洞察力を持つ、それにも拘らず私は慈愛を軽蔑します。
あなたは、私から学ぶために最初に私が[ 求める ]物を私に持って来なければならない。


>What is do you seek?

I seek knowledge , which is superior to all things.
And no knowledge is greater than that which is contained within the [ Tome of Ages ].


私は、知識 ( 全てのものより優れている ) を求める。
そして、知識は、 [ 時代の大冊 ] の中に含まれるものより大きい事はない。


>What is Tome of Ages?

The Tome of Ages has been compiled over the millennia by the Scribes of [ Dal ].
It was divided into seven distinct books by the scribes to keep the knowledge from one such as me.
That said , with aid , I shall unite these books and the Tome of Ages shall be mine.


Tome of Agesは、千年間の間[ Dal ] の筆記者によって長い間編集されてきた。
その知識は私のような者から隔離する為に、書記によって７冊の本に分割されました。
私がこれらの本を再結合すべきである。そしてTome of Agesが私のものであるべきです。


>What is Dal?

They were elves once , but now are Tier Dal , and evil as they are wise.
Many tomes have they written , but none greater than the Tome of Ages.


それらは、本来エルフであった。しかし今はTier Dal であり、邪悪で生意気である。
多くの本は彼らによって書かれた。しかしTome of Agesを超えるものは何も無い。
まずはここまで。で、ここから先は世間で噂されている情報をまとめたものです。

このTomeは全部で７冊存在します。まず、The book of Turmoil。

１．The Book of Turmoil

　Neriakの街の図書館にいるLokarに会いに行きます。（Book of Turmoil）のQuestに全容を載せています。
このQuestでTome of Agesの他の本もこのRysva To`Biathが作ってくれる事が判明します。さらにOracleオヤジは最後に

「私があなたの為にもう１つの仕事を持っているかもしれないから、後に私に再度尋ねることを覚えておいて下さい。」

と言っている事も引っかかる。

なお、Book of Turmoilの内容は以下の通り
It came to pass some years later that a small group of Erudites discovered the lost art of Necromancy.
They were branded heretics and great conflict arose.
For the first time in several hundred years, the Erudites fought.
They engaged in a civil war not entirely dissimilar to that which they had loathed and fled from back on the mainland.
but there was one very significant difference - they did not use swords and bows, but rather magic, and the result was terrible.
Lives by the hundreds were lost, great buildings and structures destroyed, and eventually the heretics were forced to flee Erudin, to hide and regroup in the southem regions of odus.
In one final battle, great mystic energies were released and an immense hole leading to unknown depths beneath the earth was created.
Into the sides of this chasm the heretics built their own city which they called Paineel.
And while both sides still seethed with anger and hatred towards one another, their fear of what the last battle had wrought has kept any further conflict at bay.


Thus began the Age of Turmoil


Erudites の小さなグループが失われたNecroの術を見つけて数年経ちました。
彼らは異端者であると烙印を押されました、そして凄まじい対立が起こりました。
数百年の間で初めて、Erudite達は戦いました。
彼らはかつて大陸から逃れた時の戦いに似た内戦状態になりました。
けれども１つの非常に重要な違いがありました − 彼らは剣と弓を使いませんでした、しかし魔法を使った事はむしろ酷い結果を生み出しました。
何百もの生命が失われ、素晴らしい建物は破壊された。
そして異端者はErudinから逃げ隠れて、Odusの南部地域で再編成することを強いられました。
最終戦争で、巨大で神秘的なエネルギーが解放されました。
そして地の未知の底にまで導くほどの巨大な穴ができました。
この深い割れ目の脇に異端者は彼らがPaineel と呼ぶ彼らの街を築きました。
そして双方の間に怒りと憎悪が渦巻きました。
しかし彼らは最後の戦いを恐れ、それ以上戦えませんでした。


そして混乱の世紀が始まりました

次にThe book of Scale。これは最も困難でしょう。なぜなら必要なモノがDragon２匹が持っているものだから・・・。

２．The Book of Scale

NagafenとVoｘをサクッと殺す（既に別の世界の話みたいだ・・・）
各DragonからLootした半分ずつの本（Torn Burnt Book）をNeriakの「Blind Fish Tavern」にいるRysva To`Biathに1000ppと共に渡す。（ちゃんと確認してね）。

これをOoTのOracleに渡すとMiragul's Phylacteryが手に入る。（FieryAvengerのQuestで使用）

 

３つ目はThe book of Ages。

３．The Book of Ages

　UnrestのHandよりLootできるらしいが、ちょっと胡散臭い。多分違う。

あとは

・Book of Blood

・The Lost Book

・Book of Monuments

・Book of Elders

とあるらしいが不明。
