Aye. I look for things in the water and let everyone else know if I see something.
It's a rough job but as the first mate said,

The first mate has been pretty short with me since the accident.'

Erm. Me 'n Nilham kinda, uhm, kinda lost the whole rum supply for the camp.
We can't get any more for months.

我々は何カ月間も飲んでいません。

Novyak the Lookout sighs and shakes his head.

'We were walking down the coast from the docks when we got attacked by a white cat.
It knocked the crate of rum out of Nilham's hands and somehow I lost the crate key.
So I'm here and Nilham is stuck in the brig.'

Novyak the Lookoutはため息をついて、そして頭を振ります。

Aye. The crate was a special metal strongbox from Akanon.
Only the key I had could open it.
Even if we find the crate the keys gone into the water or somewhere out there in the snow.

I'm sure he'd be thrilled to see it.
Just don't remind him I'm here cause he might let me go and make me work again.

もし誰かが再びケースとキーを見つける事ができるのなら、それは港の方で見つかるでしょう。
もしPrexusの神のお陰で見つける事ができたのならば、キャプテンの所に持って行って下さい。
私は彼がそれを見てわくわくするであろうと思います。

That was a nasty cat.
I dun think it was after us, though.
I think it just smelled the fresh chunk of wooly rhino jerky I had.
It didn't do anythin' but knock us over.
I guess that's what it likes, walrus.
After it knocked us over it slipped away towards the bridge island like a ghostly mist.
Im thinkin I saw a glimmer in its maw while it was runnin off.'

そいつは押し倒した以外、私になにもしませんでした。

gnomish deserter smiles at you and nods congenially.

'Hullo there. Nice ta meet ya.'

He moves to shake your hand and then seems to remember that his hand is currently frozen to a very heavy, very solid hunk of metal shaped somewhat like a box. 

Gnomish 脱走兵があなたにほほ笑んで、そしてうなずきます。 

「こんにちは。」

彼はあなたの手を握ろうとして、箱のような金属の塊が非常に冷たいのを思い出した様子だ。

Erm. Well ya see….
One day I was on guard duty and a huge white cat knocked me over.
It looked like it was running away towards the bridge island.
Anyways, I fell into the water.
I guess I passed out because the next thing I knew, I was over near the gnolls laying on top of this huge box.
It’s then that I made the decision.

ある日私は見張りをしていました、そして巨大な白い猫が私を押し倒しました。
そいつは橋のある島の方に向かって逃げて行きました。
とにかく、私は水に落ちました。
そのすぐ後に私は気を失った様です。次に気が付いた時には、この巨大な箱を持ってGnollのキャンプの近くにいました。
そして私は決心しました。」

To leave. I’m really tired of this pirate stuff.
Captain Nalot said it was going to be great fun and an adventure but all I’ve seen is a lot of biscuits, slush water, and guard duty. So I’m here.

Yup. This isn’t such a bad spot.
It’s nice and peaceful. I can see for miles and every once in a while someone like you drops by to talk.
There’s no guard duty and I don’t have to say, ‘Arrr’ any more.
That really starts to hurt your throat you know.
The only problem I have anymore is my hand frozen to this box. If you find a way to fix it, let me know.

Gnomish deserter points at the box indicating the large metal object. 

I don’t want it anymore.
It hasn’t caused me anything but trouble.
If I could have gotten rid of it by now, I would have. Unfortunately it’s a wee bit stuck."

Gnomish deserterは大きな金属の箱を指さします。 

「私はそれは欲しくありません。
それは私に問題以外の何ものももたらしませんでした。

Pythic Urson turns and looks at you.

'What?' He goes back to drinking his ale and resting.

Its a fine Coldain ale.
Good for quenchin yer thirst after a hard day of minin.
The ales name doesnt matter cause ya wouldnt be able to hold it down anyways.

Aye. Mining. Im a miner.
Thats a hard one to put together eh?

There used ta be a mixture we used ta clean off our boots but that was when we had more warriors ta get ta different places.
Now it aint possible so the crud just keeps buildin up on me boots. 

我々はブーツをきれいにするためにmixtureを使っていました。しかしそれは我々に多くの戦士がいて、色々な所へ行けた時の事です。
今そうする事は出来ません。それで仕方無く油を靴に塗っています。

Mining crud, thats what I said.
Mixture o' velium dust, mud, and whatever other junk is left on the floor after I be minin.

gnomish deserter grins and pours the ooze on his hand and the box. 
You hear a burning sizzle and then the box thumps onto the ground.

'Ow! Ow! Take it! Hah. I never thought Id get rid of that piece of...'

mist panther roars at you and goes back to cleaning itself.
A gleam of hunger flashes through its eyes.

It runs away from you and feasts on the other side of the water.
As it runs away you notice a small shiny object fall from its mouth.

Errgriz starts to cut and scrape the furs.
He growls softly as he works and his master watches his progress.

'Grrr. Much too small. 
I fail. I not ready to work on my own.

Sojan the Sleepless stares at you and then laughs before putting on the earmuffs.
As he moves around, blissfully protected from noise, a fine chain slips from his coat.

'Hey. Look at that. What a fine chain.
It looks familiar but I cant tell how. Oh well, you can have it.
It looks like it could be used to fill gaps or if needed to repair another similar metal object.
I can do that if ya ever find need.'

Sojan the Sleeplessはあなたを睨み、そして次に耳当てを見て笑います。

Madan Eflik rubs her arms to warm herself up.

'Did you find me something other than biscuits yet?
What? No? Stay on your side of the igloo tonight, then, Sojan!'

Madan Eflikは彼女自身寒さから身を守る為に腕を擦ります。

「あんたは私がビスケット以外の何かだと判ったかい？
何だって？いいえだって？
Sojan、今晩あんたはこのイグルーの外で寝なさい！」

Sojan the Sleepless sighs and stares at the ground solemnly. 
Sojan the Sleepless puts a tiny eyeglass up to his eye and studies the key and chain.

'Aye. This looks like the perfect metal to fix this key.
Gimme just a moment.'

He uses fine and minute tools to pick and push the chain and key over a fire.

'Ha! Dont see I aint never done anythin for ya. There ya go Xxxxx .' 



Sojan the Sleeplessはため息をついて、そしてまじめに下を凝視します。 
Sojan the Sleeplessは小さな片メガネをかけ、そして鍵と鎖を調べます。

Nelet Durzit sneezes and wipes his hand across his nose.

'H-h-h-i.'

Nelet don't talk much anymore. All this cold really gets to 'im.

After a few drinks, he starts to gag and make faces.

'Oh, geez! Rendap told me this stuff was strong but this tastes like clockwork grease!
It burns but now I feel - ugh.'

Nelet doubles over and passes out on the ground.
As he falls over, a small silver trinket slips out of his pocket. 
Rendap points and laughs as Nelet falls over.

'That'll put hair on yer ears, boy.
Suck it up. Least ya ain't shiverin' o' cold anymore, eh?'

Nelet Durzitは欲張ってラム酒をぐいぐい飲みます。
そして彼は吐き気がしたのか、顔を歪めます。

「おお、いいねぇ！Rendapは俺にはこの酒は強すぎると言ってたが、機械油のように味が分かるよ！
おお体が燃えてきた、でも何か・・・ウェーー。」

Nelet は体を折り曲げ、そして地面に倒れこみ気絶します。
彼が転げ落ちた時、小さな銀のアクセサリーがポケットから滑り落ちます。 
RendapはNelet が転落するのを指さして笑います。

「やれやれ、それはあなたの髪にでも飾るのにちょうど良いでしょう。」
